From the perfect union of two genuinely Maranhense brands, Mará was born.

The collaborative process of creating these sunglasses was truly enjoyable.

We started with the shape: square, stylish, unisex, and timeless.

Next came the color palette — tones that reflect both brands: dark green, amber, matte gray, and of course, black.

The final touch was the “birth record” engraved into the piece: the Santê and CATTU logos printed on the inner temples, the Santê crown symbol on the temple tips, and the name Mará — a tribute to our Maranhão, made of sea, salt, and sun.

Mará carries in its DNA the essence of what we believe in every day: fashion that is sustainable, timeless, and fun — infused with the pride we feel for our Brazilian roots.
